

Dan Kurtenbach
Mr. Kurtenbach is a 1996 graduate of Oklahoma State University where he received a B.S. in Secondary Education-Social Studies. In the spring of 2013 he graduated with his Masters in General Education - Sports Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Coach Kurtenbach (or Coach K) is entering his 19th year in education. He began his career in Mt. Vernon, Mo. and has had stops in Moore, Midwest City, Shawnee, Broken Arrow and Edmond. In that time he taught a variety of subjects including U.S. History, World History, Military History, Geography and Psychology. He has also coached basketball, track, baseball and soccer.
In addition to teaching and coaching, he has been a sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as well as served on the Oklahoma Coaches Association Board of Directors.
Coach Kurtenbach has been married to his wife, Tina, for 17 years. She works as the Director of Child Nutrition for Weatherford Public Schools. They have 2 sons: D.J., 15 who is a freshman at Weatherford High School; and Josh who is 10 and in the 5th grade at West Elementary School.
